  • Platform shoes

Made popular by the Spice Girls, platform shoes were the in-thing. As they begin to make a comeback, fashionistas around the world are beaming with excitement.

  • Tiger Jackets and Crown Shirts

Unique fashion choices left an iconic mark on the 90s era. In this day and age, we can still see people wearing this style, so has it really gone away?

  • Dragon Ball Z

It was a distant memory that almost every 90s baby knows. Every Monday to Thursday at exactly 5pm on SABC2, South Africans' eyes were glued to the screen for Dragon Ball Z.

  • Skateboard Parks

Way back when, skateboard parks used to be incredibly popular. The young and young at heart used to go for rides for hours on end at the various parks that were available.

Luckily, there are two skate parks still available in KwaZulu-Natal; the Durban Skate Park and the Ballito Skate Park.

To find out more, head to Things To Do In KZN.

Stay tuned for more nostalgic moments, we will bring you the latest from East Coast Radio.
