You think your car is expensive to fill up? This boat is out here drinking someone’s salary.
You know, in all the years of being a functioning adult (debatable, but let’s roll with it), it’s never once crossed my mind that boats need petrol.
I just assumed they floated around on good vibes, sea breezes, and the occasional shout of “Yoh, this is nice hey!”
Nope - turns out boats are just fancy cars with commitment issues.

A video recently made the rounds of a man filling up his fishing boat.
Harmless enough, until you realise the total is sitting at over R8 646… and the pump was still going.
Yup. It’s like watching your bank account deflate in real-time.
According to the fisherman, this tank is just enough for one fishing trip. Honestly, I’d rather paddle.
As expected, the comments section was absolute chaos:
