#HeartStuff: Nokwethemba gets a brand new wheelchair!
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
We invited Nokwethemba to showcase her amazing bead-work which will be going on an ECR auction, but little did she know that something greater awaited her. Her reaction to the great news is truly priceless!

It all started with a tweet that caught our attention, and it's developed into a story that has touched our hearts deeply.
A week ago we interviewed Nokwethemba - a young, energetic, aspiring businesswoman, juggling a permanent job and a demanding jewellery business to support her family and raise funds for a new wheelchair - all despite her disability.
#HeartStuff: Nokwethemba sells beads to raise funds for a new wheelchair
We invited Nokwethemba to visit us for a catch-up chat, and to show us the pieces she has created for the team to auction off to help her raise funds for her new wheelchair, but little did she know that we had a huge surprise for her.
Grab your tissues, this moment will give you all the feels:
A very big thank you to Corné Pretorius from Kodav Logistics who committed himself to getting Nokwethemba a new wheelchair.
Next week, we will catch up with Nokwethemba to find out how her new wheelchair feels, and she has promised us a huge surprise to say thank you. We cannot wait.
It makes us very proud to know that when one is in desperate need, KZN is always ready to lend a helping hand. This is why it's called #HeartStuff!
