K-pop singer Jin, a member of the hit boy band BTS, will release his first official solo single next week, following this week's announcement that he will soon start military duty. The song, 'The Astronaut', will be released on 28 October.

Shelflife, a sneaker store founded in Cape Town in 2006, is one of three selected to collaborate with Nike to design a pair of Air Jordan 2s. This is the first shop on the continent to officially collaborate with Nike's Jordan Brand, designing a shoe that pays homage to locals.
