Two weeks after BTS announced their hiatus in an emotional video, J-Hope is ready for his new solo project. The 28-year-old dropped the video for his new song, 'Hope', on Thursday.

The song features on his upcoming album, 'Jack in the Box'. The offering is the K-pop star's debut solo studio album.

J-Hope, whose real name is Jung Hoseok, is gearing up for the album's release on July 15.

The video for 'Hope' has already been watched more than three million times on YouTube.

BTS is a multi-platinum selling group from South Korea. The Grammy-nominated group is the first group from the country to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

They achieved the feat in 2020 following the success of their single, '`Dynamite'. All members in the group are currently pursuing solo careers but assured their fans they will be back.

"We promise we will return someday, even more mature than we are now," Jungkook promised.
