Medicine regulator SAHPRA has registered the HIV prevention jab, CAB-LA. It virtually eliminates your chances of contracting HIV through sex. Whether the Health Department will buy the shot, will depend on the price at which the drugmaker, ViiV Healthcare, will sell it. In the US, it's sold for 200 times more than what scientists say we should pay.

According to sources close to the Blue Bulls Company, the whereabouts of missing Springbok winger Sbu Nkosi have finally been established. That's all we know at the moment. Apparently, he was at his father’s home in Emalahleni.

Uber's latest safety feature, which allows drivers and riders to record audio during an uncomfortable trip, has been rolled out across South Africa after completing a pilot phase in Gauteng. The information will help in investigations into uncomfortable rides.

The first Oxford word of the year to be chosen by public vote has been announced. The winning word, "goblin-mode", is a slang term describing "unapologetically self-indulgent, lazy, slovenly, or greedy" behaviour.
