A community meeting in Gugulethu in Cape Town with Police Minister Bheki Cele ended in a heated exchange, with him shouting at an Action Society leader, with police having to remove the man from the gathering. Action Society says it will be filing complaints against Cele.

A 12-storey building in Cape Town's city centre is the world's tallest to be constructed from hempcrete blocks and hemp building materials. The building is at 84 Harrington Street in Cape Town.

Rihanna is the youngest self-made female billionaire in the US. She has a net worth of $1.4-billion, making her the only woman under 40 on this year's list of self-made female billionaires in the US and her native Barbados' first billionaire, as well.

The Film and Publications Board (FPB) has gazetted updated classification guidelines for films, games, and non-news publications. According to the FPB, children under the age of 13 must play games under adult supervision at all times.
