Busted! The wild story of a 22-year-old fake dentist

Tooth be told, this family’s illegal dental clinic left police and patients gobsmacked!

Ladies and gentlemen, brace yourselves, because this dental drama is wilder than a reality show reunion!

Czech police recently arrested a 22-year-old man who decided to become a dentist the modern way - through the University of YouTube.

No degree, no dental school, no official training. Just pure Wi-Fi and audacity.

According to BBC News, this fearless faker and his two equally questionable family members set up shop in their home in Havlickuv Brod.

Just picture it: a DIY dental surgery where teeth were pulled, root canals attempted, and anaesthetic administered… all thanks to tips and tricks found online.

Dentistry by WikiHow, if you will.

Weirdly enough, this isn’t anything new to the Czech Republic.

In a jaw-dropping (pun intended) statement, the president of the Czech Dental Chamber, Roman Šmucler, revealed that about 10 cases of fake dentists pop up every year in the country.

Ten - and that’s just the ones they catch.

The trio, including a 50-year-old woman posing as a nurse and a 44-year-old man crafting prosthetics in the back, reportedly treated dozens of unsuspecting patients over two years.

The trio reportedly made a whopping four million Czech koruna (around R3.3 million) - all while having zero actual qualifications.

Police didn’t confirm if anyone complained about their dental adventures.

In all honesty though, if someone’s doing your root canal while consulting a YouTube tutorial, you might want a second opinion.

Authorities have since charged the three with everything from running an illegal business and money laundering to attempted assault and drug dealing.

Basically, if it’s a crime and it involves teeth, they probably did it.
