According to IOL, the popular South African producer and DJ, Black Coffee, whose real name is Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, has recently been dragged on social media for joining MacG’s ‘Podcast and Chill’.

Black Coffee joined the show as a guest and was met with criticism from some of his fans.

Black Coffee is regarded as one of the biggest names on the South African music scene and has earned a huge following over the years.

His fans, however, were disappointed when he chose to make an appearance on MacG’s podcast, as they felt it was a step down.

The backlash against Black Coffee’s decision to join MacG’s podcast was intense.

He was accused of selling out and compromising his artistic integrity - and his fans were particularly vocal in their criticism.

Some even went so far as to suggest that he was 'jumping on the bandwagon' by appearing on the show.

Despite the criticism, Black Coffee has stood by his decision to join MacG’s podcast.

He has defended himself by saying that he was simply trying to reach a wider audience and that he is open to different kinds of collaborations.
