1. Durban beaches update
Durban's beaches were closed yesterday, after an announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa on Monday night. A handful of people wearing masks jogged and strolled along Durban's promenade on an overcast Wednesday morning under the watchful eye of law enforcement officers. A video of a PACKED Durban beach was shared by a media house where no Covid-19 protocols were followed, however, many called it fake news. Let us know what you think.

2. 'Ghost boat’ with 649 kilos of cocaine on board washes up in Marshall Islands
Marshall Islands police have found the Pacific nation's largest-ever haul of cocaine in an abandoned boat that washed up on a remote atoll after drifting on the high seas, potentially for years. The fibreglass vessel was found at Ailuk atoll last week with 649 kilograms (1,430 pounds) of cocaine hidden in a compartment beneath the deck.
3. Man caught in corrupt table tennis betting sting
Australian police have charged a man as part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged transnational gambling syndicate placing corrupt bets on international Ping Pong tournaments. The 40-year-old man was charged for the use of "corrupt conduct information to bet" and "knowingly deal with proceeds of criminal intent to conceal"

4. MacKenzie Scott donates money to a good cause
MacKenzie Scott, the wealthiest woman on the planet, has given away $4.2 billion to good causes over the past four months. She was previously married to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. She signed The Giving Pledge last year - a non-profit organisation whereby affluent individuals pledge to donate at least half of their fortune over the course of their lifetime.
5. Tom Cruise yells at movie crew for breaking COVID-19 protocol
In an audio recording taken on set at Warner Bros. Studios, Tom Cruise can be heard furiously tearing into the Mission Impossible 7 crew after they apparently didn’t adhere to coronavirus protocols. He shouted ‘If I see you doing it again, you’re f*cking gone’, and, ‘You can tell it to the people that are losing their f*cking homes because our industry is shut down’.
