2020 Year in Review: Comedian steps back from helping bullied Durban girl
Updated | By Darren, Keri and Sky
The comedian cited lack of feedback from family and fear of flooding them with messages as his reason for doing so.
When a grade 12 learner went viral earlier this year - after opening up about being bullied - a local comedian was moved so much by the pupil's story that he attempted to step in to try and assist.
Adrenalin, who is a comedian and musician, came across a video of a school girl who had shared her story about enduring bullying in school for her body and eyes - and like many good Samaritans, he, too (with the help of some of his friends), wanted to help her by spoiling her.

However, Adrenalin, after days of trying to reach the girl and her family, decided to stop reaching out to them when he received no feedback.
In a Facebook video, he mentioned that he did not want to inundate the family with messages for fear of scaring them off or appearing as a stalker, because it seemed as if they were uncomfortable with his communication.
