Saving up for a new car is a milestone that not many people can achieve in this economy. So, when someone does manage to do so, we are here to celebrate them.

Cwenga Daweti from Cape Town shared her milestone on social media. She could not stop smiling as she walked into the Kia dealership in Tyger Valley.

Daweti shared that at 24, she was able to buy her first car in cash. This is a reminder that anything is possible when you put your mind to it.

Saving up for a car is no easy feat and takes epic proportions of diligence and dedication.

One person asked Daweti how she did it, and she said, "All I can say is that I've been saving money since last year. I've been very strict and disciplined."

We loved her humility in receiving the love the online community gave her. She also motivated many people who shared their hopes of doing the same as her one day.

Daweti's story filled social media users with hope and inspiration and was celebrated, unlike the story of Eza Limelintaka, a petrol station cashier whose milestone moment was tainted by her boss's untrusting attitude about her car purchase.
