Video: Trolley management efficiency on another level

This is one of the reasons South Africans are celebrated, because of their ability to work smart.

South Africans are known for their ability to turn some of the most mundane tasks into something innovative and sometimes even entertaining.

We've seen people use shopping trolleys in the most interesting ways. A few years back, we saw a young lady pimp out a trolley and use it as her mode of transportation to her matric dance

Most recently, we saw a video of two people travelling the roads of Johannesburg using a trolley.

Without meaning to, the humble trolley has become more than just a way to cart groceries. Notably, Checkers has created quite the hype around trolleys in recent years. From creating mini trolleys for kids to use in their stores, to the limited edition miniature trolley collectables as part of the Checkers mini range, they've managed to bring a mediocre item into the spotlight.

Trolley porters have a way of making their jobs look super fun as they ride on trolleys while trying to gather them at shopping malls.

One video highlighting the efficiency of a trolley porter showed how he used gravity to his advantage and didn't have to put in all the effort when pushing the trolleys.

In the video, the man sits at the front of a long row of trolleys as he happily steering the trolleys down a hill.

South Africans were happy to celebrate this man's use of efficiency in the workplace.

One person wrote, "The aim is to work smart and sweat less."

"Where's his licence?"

Another called it "Checkers 20/20."

"Now you understand why they need 7 years of experience."
