We live in a country where everyone has a sense of humour...

South Africans are known for their ability to take a joke and approach things with humour.

The saying about laughter being infectious is true in many ways even when it comes to our police force. The South African Police Services (SAPS) have been known to be friendly and amusing at times but this time it was slightly questionable.

A video shared on social media shows what resembles a police vehicle with an LED sign fixed to the inside of the back window. It's not so much the LED light that grabbed people's attention, it was what was being displayed on the sign.

The scrolling sign read: "Free accommodation. Just piss me off!"

In the spirit of keeping things light, most people who engaged with the post took it in a fun and lighthearted way.

One person said, "Ah South Africa. How I love you."

Another wrote, "Can take us nowhere. Not even home."
