Golden retriever becomes chief happiness officer at startup

This is by far one of the most fabulous ideas done by a company regarding work wellness.

For some employees, finding happiness in the workplace can be challenging. Most people work in a fast-paced, stressful environment that doesn't prioritise work wellness as much as it should.
However, more industry leaders are learning that they get better results when they priorotise their employees' mental health and well-being.
A company making waves on the internet with its new hire seems to hold the secret to workplace happiness.
Three weeks ago, co-founder of Harvested Robotics, Rahul Arepaka, managed to flip the script on conventional workplace ideals with their new hire. He announced on LinkedIn that they hired Denver, a golden retriever, as their Chief Happiness Officer.

He wrote, "Meet our newest hire, Denver - Chief Happiness Officer. He doesn’t code. He doesn’t care. He just shows up, steals hearts, and keeps the energy up. Also, we’re officially pet-friendly now. Best decision. BTW: He’s got the best perks in the company."
See the post from LinkedIn below.
Arepaka was confident with the decision and called it a "game changer".
Far too often, companies don't prioritise the overall well-being of their employees. Employees experience burnout and are unhappy in their roles. Some might even lie about their work satisfaction for fear of losing their jobs. However, this company proves that creating a happy workplace culture is attainable with a little 'out-of-the-box' thinking. The only rules you have to follow are your own...
The Economic Times in India said, "In an industry obsessed with innovation, it's often easy to overlook productivity's simpler, softer ingredients—like joy, emotional support, and spontaneous tail wags. Denver seems to be ticking all those boxes effortlessly. His appointment isn’t just a publicity stunt; it signals a growing trend of incorporating emotional well-being into workplace culture."
A golden retriever might be the ray of sunshine your office didn't know it needed.
