South Africans are known for our unique way of approaching some of life's problems. Finding a way to work around issues that have become a norm in our country can be challenging.

We're a nation known for finding humour in almost every situation. It's no wonder comedy shows are packed and our social media feeds are filled with hilarious content. We're basically pros at laughing our way through life's everyday chaos.

In true Mzansi style, one content creator has found a way to make lemonade out of life's lemons and is flipping the script on the never-ending pothole issue in a completely over-the-top way.

Tyrone Buys is known for posting funny content on his TikTok page and this time he's taking a dig at potholes.

In his first video, he's seen sprinkling a box of chocolate cake mix into a pothole, saying he drew inspiration from President Cyril Ramaphosa's nickname, Cupcake. His bit threw some cheeky shade at the way potholes are "fixed" on our roads.

He says no matter how often potholes are fixed, they just open up again and become problematic to motorists.

His second video shows him filling a pothole using a popular cereal brand, saying that some food products might do a better job fixing the potholes than the building materials used to fix it.

TikTokers found his content hilarious.

One person wrote, "Tenderbakership, so the dough rises."

Another said, "That’s why they must give young blood a chance. They will bring out new ideas and inventions."

"We need a sense of humour to survive in SA..."
