Toddler mixing his own formula leaves Mzansi impressed

A wonderful example of how as parents we should be empowering our kids to do things on their own.

We live in a time where everything has evolved, including the way our kids behave, grow, and develop.

And with that evolution comes varied styles of parenting.

Some parents believe that empowering their kids to do things for themselves is a key part of growing, while others are more into doing things for their kids.

When we see parents teaching and enforcing independence with their kids it really does inspire us.

One very empowering example of teaching independence was displayed recently when a parent shared a video of their little boy preparing his own bottle of formula.

The little boy, who looks around the age of two years, is seen carefully scooping up powdered milk and transferring it into his bottle of water.

People were really impressed with the fact that he was doing things for himself at such a young age.

They went on to praise his parents for teaching him independence. What better way to ensure your child can care for themselves than allowing them to prepare their own food?

It can be easier and quicker to do things on your own but having the patience to let your kids do things - mistakes, accidents, and all - can be so empowering for them and you in the long run.
