Stellenbosch student bringing people together with music

This feels like something out of a movie...

Not very long ago, we were surprised to see two students from Stellenbosch University going off-script and pulling a stunt during lectures.

We're not quite sure what the lecturer did after this happened, but we do know that had we pulled something like this in our time, there would most likely be consequences.

The vibe that these students created is exactly what we would expect from an American teen movie.

So, as you can imagine, it was surprising to watch, not to mention thinking it was going to be a fail for the instigator.

Watch the first video the student posted that got more than 26-million views, courtesy of TikTok. A great rendition of 'We Are Young' indeed...

The first one went so well that Tim (the student TikToker) decided to give it another go.

He succeeded again and this time it felt more like a concert, with everyone putting their version of lighters up (their smartphone torches).

One thing is for certain, Uni days are not the same! Check out the video below, courtesy of TikTok

But it seems the success of his spectacle motivated him to go even further with his mission. He tried to get everyone to sing at the mall and you may not believe this, but he succeeded.

Watch the latest viral video that shows him singing at the mall.
