Man says he's found the best Indian food in Durban

Imagine eating at a place you don't know the name of, but the food is excellent...

Have you ever been to a place before, enjoyed your food but didn't know the name of it?

One man who posts videos of his travels around South Africa visited our hearty province in March this year.

He was excited to have found the best curry joint (in his opinion) but he while enjoying his food, he realised he didn't know the name of the place he was eating at.

This could mean that he was just hungry and didn't pay attention when he walked in or that this famous Durban Indian Food place didn't have proper signage.

The place he was sitting in was Solly Manjras. This food place specialises in Indian cuisine and is one of the trailblazers of catering in Durban.

He admitted in the post itself that he went back to do his research and indeed found out the name of the place. But his post determined one thing: people love the food at Solly Manjra Caterers

@southafricantrave I'm the video I said I do not know the place name, so I went back, do a little of homework, and the place is Solly Manjra's. Wow-Wow, their food is excellent. #travel #travelers #traveling #travelblogger #traveltiktok #traveltiktokvideos ♬ original sound - Kasponki

He even did a follow-up video and returned to Solly Manjra Caterers in Sea Cow Lake.

I had to go back to show my follow citizens where to get great Indian food when you visit Durban, South Africa 🇿🇦. Excuse for the uncle that look so serious in the video, perhaps camera shy.
