The Covid-19 pandemic has brought with it a lot of change. Despite major changes like national lockdowns, wearing masks in public and sanitizing hands before entering a store, many also moved to home offices as the world tries to curb the spread of the virus.

Working from home has proven to be a challenge on its own. While some thrived working in their own environments, others couldn’t wait to go back into the office to have some sense of normalcy. One thing, however, is for certain – working from home has been an adjustment.

In a hilarious clip making its rounds on social media, Colleen Chulis, the RVP Sales at Regulated Industries, SAP SuccessFactors shared a clip of her daughter imitating her navigating her work/life balance – and so many moms around the world relate!

“My 8 year old daughter asked me last night if she could do an impression of me. I wasn’t sure what to expect,” Colleen shared on LinkedIn. “This was the first and only take. I figured many of you might relate (and laugh) with the snapping and the multi-tasking. Covid changed a lot of things this past year and this has been a lot of my reality!”

Naturally, parents working from home have related so much to the new way of doing business during the pandemic. “Hilarious. The finger snapping at the children has become part of my every day. So on point. It has been a hectic time but I must be honest, I've loved being able to work AND have lunch with my family,” one user commented on the video.

Another adds “This child clearly loves and respects the hell out of you Colleen while seeing the funny side of your quirks.”

However, some have said that the clip shines a grim light on the entire working from home scenario. “Seeing this makes me feel pretty guilty. Before lockdown I was greeted at the door by my three little people. Then in March when we started home working I started to close my study door and kick them out the room constantly. End result they no longer come home and seek me out,” one user explains.

While the clip has certainly opened up a deeper conversation, the response has been phenomenal. “Thank you everyone for your positive comments - My family cannot believe how many views this video has so far and I'm glad to hear that it made so many of you smile.”
