Could this be the solution we need when there's no water and we need a shower?

There's no doubt that the topic surrounding 'water' is a bit sensitive for many people living in KZN and South Africa. Outside of it being the name of the hit single that earned Tyla a Grammy, using the word comes with some bitterness.

We can't say we blame people for acting out, after all, water is life as we have been reminded all our lives. But it seems conserving it and maintaining supply has not been a high priority for the powers that be.

In saying all of that, we came across an interesting video shared on TikTok by a well-known Durbanite.

You could say she has a special relationship with water. Christy Gilmour, the South African longboard surfer from Durban, shared an interesting find on her TikTok and we were invested.

In the video, we see Christy after a morning surf at the Durban beachfront. She talks about how many of the showers at the beachfront aren't operational, so she has had to make a plan.

Watch the video below, where she shared her discovery of a portable shower.

Can you imagine how great this would be when you don't have water?

Of course, by now, most of us know that keeping a stash of water stored away for emergencies is a given, that's if you don't have a Jojo tank.

So, adding your stored water to this contraption can help you when you need a shower. Would you be keen on trying it?
