Happy Raksha Bhandan to all those celebrating.
As we celebrate this auspicious day that reminds us to take heed of our siblings, we wanted to share some love for all those celebrating.
Far too often we hear of stories where siblings lose touch with each other or a quarrel becomes bigger than the love they share.
Today is a day that is set aside to acknowledge the bond between a brother and sister.
"Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a special occasion to celebrate this emotional bonding by tying a holy thread around the wrist. This thread, which pulsates with sisterly love and sublime sentiments, is rightly called the Rakhi since it means 'a bond of protection' and Raksha Bandhan signifies that the strong must protect the weak from all that’s evil."
