'Friends' Reunion episode is here - will you be watching?
Do you remember the theme song? I'll be there for you....(singing)...The official release date of the international favourite, 'Friends' has been announced.
When the last episode was aired and then watched, and rewatched, and then watched again, yes, because we just loved the series so much that we could rewatch, we waited in bated breath for them to announce that they would come back and do another season...
"Here's wishing", some would say. Well, the wishing was over when they first announced that they would be coming back to our screens with a reunion episode last February, but with the pandemic, there were delays, so the release was pushed back.
Jennifer Aniston announced on Instagram, and we literally jumped up with excitement. The long wait is over as they will be on our screens in their reunion episode on the 27th of May 2021 on HBO Max.

Speaking about the delay in the release, Jennifer Aniston spoke to Deadline last year, saying, “It’s going to be super. You know what? This has also given us more time to make it even more exciting and more fun than it would have been."
"So I choose to see it as the glass is half-full that it got postponed. Look, we’re not going anywhere. You’re never going to get rid of 'Friends' sorry. You’re stuck with us for life guys.”

The full cast, Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Courteney Cox (Monica Gellar), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), David Schwimmer (Ross Gellar), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), will be joining in an unscripted show, which will celebrate the show that ended in 2004. Fans worldwide are excited about this reunion episode, and we think it's come at the perfect time. We could all use something fun and light-hearted.
