Carol Ofori shares cute moments ahead of Father's Day
Updated | By Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
The countdown to Father's Day has begun, and if you haven't already found a gift, then you'd better hurry the clock is ticking.

It's time to celebrate dads, in all their glory. There's something unique and special about the relationships between fathers and their kids.
As we approach Father's Day, Carol Ofori and her kids have brought a lighthearted side to the celebrations. While this is something to be cherished, it is also a key reminder of a father's role in their child's life.
Dads have a particular aura about them that differs drastically from Moms, making their parenting style that much more unique. Dads have a way of pushing the boundaries and are known for approaching serious situations with a fair share of humour. Still, the one irreplaceable thing they offer their kids is a sense of protection.
Listen to Carol Ofori's fascinating interview with Kevin Rutter, the founder of Fathers in Africa. Rutter explains how fatherlessness significantly contributes to the challenges facing our country.
We asked Carol what the plans were for Father's Day, and in true Carol Ofori style, she shared how they would be celebrating dad in Hluhluwe with the possibility of a game drive on Father's Day.
Thinking back to Mother's Day, Carol amusingly shared how her youngest, Serwaa, made a special card at school for her. She said, "Serwaa did a cute fact card, and on it, she was asked how old her dad is, and she said 60, and on my mom's day fact card, she said she thinks I’m 22."
If that doesn't say it all...
What gifts will Daddy Ofori receive outside of his precious fact card this Father's Day? Carol said she asked the kids what they wanted to get their dad, and they said, "A jacket, fireballs and chocolate..."
A jacket to keep him warm, fireballs to make him feel like a kid again and chocolate to remind him how sweet life can be as a father.
