Carol Ofori: "I love Valentine's Day, it's one of my favourite days of the year"
Updated | By East Coast Radio
The day of hearts, flowers, and everything nice means something different to everyone...
Just one more day for the celebrations to begin and we wanted to ask our Daytime Queen what she thought about Valentine's Day.
Of course, there are many different opinions when it comes to the day of love. You get the die-hard believers, the sceptics and cynics, and those who don't give it much thought.
Naturally, we wanted to know what Carol Ofori thinks and how she celebrates or if she celebrates with hubby, Greg Ofori.
We were both happy and surprised to hear that the thought-provoking Daytime Queen loves Valentine's Day.
She shared that she loves this day and, in fact, she admitted that it might very well be her favourite day of the year. Carol went on to say that the reason she loves it so much is because when she was growing up she never had a Valentine.
When all the girls were going on Valentine's dates and all of that and at school the boys were giving the girls roses, one, Carol Ralefeta, at the time was not getting a damn thing. So, I relish in it because ever since meeting Mr Ofori, Valentine's Day has really been special. When I met him he didn't care for it and I kind of made him care for it. I don't buy him anything, he takes me out and spoils me. I love the fact that he just gets that I love the day and buys into it as much as he hates the idea. This year Greg is flying out to take me out to dinner and I am just so excited!- Carol Ofori
