Age is but a number: "He is my soulmate, he genuinely makes me happy, and I make him happy"

What is the age difference between you and your partner?

We are all quick to judge when it comes to what love is supposed to look like. Whether that means living within the box of sharing the same race, or being within the same age group, anything that makes you uncomfortable, is a red flag that you have issues with.

That clearly comes from our own mindsets and conformities, which need to be broken in order for us to live a much fuller life. But that, my dear, is all up to you as an individual. You have to look outside the box to see everything...

In saying all that, we came across this couple that seem to have made an impression on TikTok and the world when it comes to finding love at any age. They are true indicators that love comes in all shapes and sizes.

The couple, Cheryl (61) and Quran McCain (24), have become popular on TikTok for their crazy dance moves and their relationship. They are constantly criticised online for their 37-year age gap, but that doesn't stop them from sharing their affection for one another or their love.

The couple recently tied the knot. "We are so in sync, it's like I feel what he feels and vice versa," she tells W24.

She got her TikTok fame months ago when she decided to share her dance moves with the world.

"When I did share it, I instantly got 8 000 likes. I never planned to go viral," says the happy new bride.

"The likes came with some nastiness which left the new bride disheartened but Quran encouraged her. She then went on to post an appreciation video of her dancing with Quran back in May with the caption: "I was gonna stop making TikToks because of all the hate but a great soul from my past kept me uplifted. I appreciate him because I was really gonna delete the app. I have been bullied all my life because of my eating disorder and I appreciate you King." (News24)

Why is it that when we see something that is outside of our normal then we immediately judge? The thing is that these kinds of stories are meant to teach us that just as we are body positivity, we should also be age positive and allow people to express themselves the way they feel is best.

Big ups to them for trying to inspire that in everyone else...
