Summer is the best time for targeting flatfish here in KwaZulu-Natal. Flatfish frequenting our waters in the summer months include sandsharks, diamond rays, brown rays and honeycomb rays.
Durban harbour is home to brown rays at this time of the year and they often surprise anglers targeting other species like grunter.
