WATCH - Drone fishing for tuna
Updated | By Andre Bloem
I have been part of fishing trips where drones have been used to film some of the action.

However, this is the first time I am seeing a drone used to catch the fish.
I am looking forward to a fishing trip of my own this week Wednesday.
Kirk Newton from GoFish and I will be targeting couta.
You may well recall the 9kg Natal snoek I caught on my last trip with Kirk earlier this year.
That fish was landed off a jetski off Umhlanga.
This week we look set to go out on a boat.
A number of big couta were caught during the recent annual Durban Ski Boat Club competition.
I am hoping to catch a couta of my own this week.
For now let us focus on drone fishing for tuna.
I will be fishing in the annual King of the Sea competition hosted by GoFish magazine on 21 and 22 May.
The event will again be hosted by the Pumula Hotel on the KZN south coast.
