Sharks select 3 Lions

The Sharks have confirmed their touring squad for the Australasian leg of the Vodacom Super Rugby season.

Bismarck du Plessis, Lwazi Mvovo, Willem Alberts, Louis Ludik, Ryan Kankowski, Butch James, Jacques Botes and Tim Whitehead are all not in it.

Kankowski has been dropped, while the others are all injured.

The Sharks have picked three Lions players in Derick Minnie, Andries Coetzee and Piet Lindeque.

Also in the touring party are the likes of Allan Dell, Lubabalo Mtembu and JP Pietersen.

The Sharks will face the Chiefs, Highlanders, Reds and Force in Australasia.

Tomorrow they will host the Toyota Cheetahs in Durban.
