Semenya the big star at the SA Sports awards

Olympic champion Caster Semenya walked away from the big at the SA Sports awards held in Bloem winning two big awards.

Semenya walked away with the Sports Star of the Year, Sportswoman of the Year and People’s Choice awards.

The Sportsman of the Year award went to swimming champion, Chad le Clos.

Commonwealth 100 and 200m breaststroke champion, Tatjan Schoenmaker was named the newcomer of the year beating off competition from swimmer Minke Janse van Rensburg and sprinter Luxolo Adam.
