Kob in Durban harbour
Updated | By Kingfisher
Durban harbour saw a decent amount of action over the last week and despite the wind blowing as hard as it did, anglers found themselves hooking into some lovely fish.

The north facing sandbank produced a nice kob of around 7kg on live mullet.
Stumpnose were landed around the banks and in the mangroves too.
Generally the grunter bite was slow, but a few boaters managed some nice fish particularly off the banks near Roundbush.
It is good to see that the kingfish are back in action and have been spotted around the piers in the bay as well as the south pier. A few of these fish have been landed around the BAT Centre on smaller spoons and on drop-shot.
