Epic Fin Cup Return: Sharks vs Dolphins
A fan favourite returns! The Fin Cup, powered by Hollywoodbets, makes its triumphant comeback this year - bringing together two of KwaZulu-Natal’s most iconic teams, the Hollywoodbets Dolphins and the Hollywoodbets Sharks on Sunday, 17 August.
This unique sporting spectacle, supported by East Coast Radio and various other partners, will see some of the province’s top rugby and cricket stars face off in a spirited, light-hearted cricket clash designed to ignite provincial pride and celebrate the unifying power of sport.

Supporters from both sporting codes are invited to Hollywoodbets Kingsmead for a thrilling day packed with cricketing action, entertainment and activations for the whole family.
The event has been put together to help grow the provincial pride, to help drive cross-sport fan engagement and give fans of both teams an opportunity to see their stars up close and personal in a dynamic environment.
“The iconic KZN brands of the Dolphins and Sharks have played major roles in the success of our national teams. It is a privilege to collaborate on this unique event and I am especially excited about the future possibilities of this relationship,” CEO of Hollywoodbets Dolphins Heinrich Strydom said.

The Sharks CEO, Shaun Bryans added: “The Fin Cup, is more than just a cricket match. It’s a celebration of provincial pride, of partnership, and the incredible sporting culture that defines KZN. After a hiatus of a few years, rugby meets cricket in a head-to-head battle that promises all the thrill, fun, and fierce, but friendly, competition that fans love.

Game day will feature exciting entertainment for fans of all ages, including mini cricket matches for Sharks Pups and Dolphins Kids, celebrity appearances and meet-and-greet moments with legendary Sharks and Dolphins players.
