Zwelisha woman in court for killing elderly relative

A woman, nabbed in connection with the murder of her elderly relative in Zwelisha, north of Durban, will be back in court next week.

Police say they received a report of a person who was killed and buried in a shallow grave in the area this week.
On arrival, they found a woman suspected to be involved in a murder and were forced to rescue her from community members.
KZN police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says the woman was taken to the Verulam police station for further investigation.
Gwala says it then came to light that the woman allegedly conspired with another man to kill an elderly woman with a hammer.
"The grave was also cemented by the same suspects. All role players were summoned to the scene and the police officers from the search and rescue swiftly responded.
