Zuma's court date finalised
The Hawks have served former president Jacob Zuma with a summons to appear in the Durban High Court on April 6.
Zuma faces 16 charges of corruption, fraud, money laundering, and racketeering in connection with bribery allegations during the so-called arms deal, and payments he received from his former financial advisor Schabir Shaik.
Zuma will appear alongside his co-accused French arms company Thales, and its South African division Thint.
Hawks spokesperson, Hangwani Mulaudzi confirmed the summons were sent to Zuma's lawyers on Monday.
"These summons were sent to his legal representatives. This is the end of the chapter as far as investigations are concerned. The new chapter will begin on the 6th when the NPA will take charge of this case," says Mulaudzi.

The summons come two weeks after National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) head Shaun Abrahams announced the reinstatement of charges.
Zuma had made representations to Abrahams, denying the allegations against him.
The National interfaith Council of South Africa has come out in support of Zuma.
"Nobody is coming up with concrete facts that Zuma has been charged with corruption. We are not saying he is not guilty, we will support him until he is found guilty," says Bishop Timothy Ngcobo.
