Zuma's backers to submit memorandum to ANC in KZN
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Around 50 supporters of Jacob Zuma are part of a motorcade that made its way to the ANC provincial office in Durban on Thursday to demand the former president's release from jail.
The group, from different ANC branches in eThekwini, gathered at Curries Fountain before hitting the road.
Maboni Chamane from the ANC Women's League says they plan to hand over a memorandum to party leaders.

She says they're calling on the provincial structure to join their call.
"We strongly believe that uBaba Msholozi must be released from jail. He's very old and he doesn't deserve to be in jail.
"That's what we are saying, we are saying #ZumaMustBeReleased. We are coming from the branches. We are with the people on the ground.
