King Misuzulu kaZwelithini says those who sit in silence while witnessing violence against women and children are just as guilty as the perpetrators.

An anti-gender-based violence march was held on Saturday in Durban in an effort to change men's attitudes towards women.
The protesters held placards reading "Stop killing women", "Silence hides violence" and "Protect our sisters”.
The Zulu monarch joined the demonstration, along with government officials including Social Development Minister Lindiwe Zulu.

King Misuzulu said a lot needs to be done fight the scourge.
"Today I say as a nation, we must draw the line between monsters and those who fight the scourge. All of this is such a great shame and we allow it to happen. History teaches us that as citizens, we are guilty on two forms, by commission and by looking the other way to this problem."
