Zikalala: Misuzulu coronation must happen 'as soon as possible'
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
KZN Premier Sihle Zikalala hopes the decision by President Cyril Ramaphosa to recognised Prince Misuzulu as the Amazulu king will restore the decorum of the royal house.

The president's move paves the way for Misuzulu to succeed King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu, who passed away last year.
The issue of Misuzulu's ascension to the throne has been a contentious one - with some in the family refusing to recognise him as the rightful heir.

Zikalala says the time has come to put differences aside.
"We are from now onwards going to work with the royal house towards ensuring that the coronation ceremony takes place according to the plans.
"We will be working with national government as well as the royal house in ensuring that this is done according to the plans and as soon as possible."
