Wyebank father pleads guilty to killing kids

The Wyebank father who killed his four
children has pleaded guilty and will be sentenced next week.

The National Prosecution Authority (NPS) spokesperson, Natasha Kara says the man opted to plead guilty last week.
The case was moved to the high court.
"The accused appeared in the Pietermaritzburg High Court during the course of last week, where he pleaded guilty to four counts of murder."
"The matter has been postponed to next week for sentencing," she said.
The 44-year-old man told the court that he had picked up the children from their schools on the day of the killing in September.
His three young children ages; four, six and 10 were found hanged at their Wyebank home.
His 16-year-old step-daughter's body was found later that day in New Germany.
The man will be back in the magistrate's court next month to face a separate charge of rape.
