Workers electrocuted in Durban

One man is fighting for his life in hospital and another is receiving treatment for moderate injuries after being electrocuted while working in the Newlands East area, north of Durban.

The men had been working on a pylon in Inanda Road.
Rescue Care says both men were treated on scene by advanced life support paramedics before being taken to hospital for further care.
The circumstances leading to the incident are still unclear at this stage.
Authorities are investigating.
Emergency services say one of the workers sustained critical injuries.
