Worker in critical condition, 2 others hurt in Kloof substation explosion

Emergency services are in Kloof, where workers at a municipal substation have been electrocuted.

One of them is said to have suffered critical injuries and has been transported to hospital.
Garrith Jamieson, who's from KZN VIP Medics, is on the scene.
"On arrival, paramedics from KZN VIP and ALS Paramedics found that workers who had been working on a substation had somehow been electrocuted.

"Prior to paramedic's arrival, one person who was critically injured had been rushed through to a nearby hospital for the urgent care that he required.
"Two others had sustained minor to moderate injuries and were stabilised on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care they required. At this stage, the events leading up to the explosion are unknown."
