Hawks spokesperson, Anelisa Feni says the two women allegedly recruited girls from all over the country and monitored their movements in the houses were they were being kept.

"We view this as a positive development for our case. It's an indication that we are continuing with our investigation and we will be making more arrests," she says.

The 59-year-old Nigerian pastor was arrested by the Hawks at the Port Elizabeth Airport in April after landing on a flight from Durban.

He's been in custody since then - after failing to secure release on bail on several occasions.

He faces multiple charges related to the contravention of the Sexual Offences Act.

These include two counts of rape. Some of his alleged victims are as young as 13-years-old.
