Woman shot in suspected hit in Mpumalanga township
A woman's been rushed to hospital after she was shot in what appears to have been a hit in Mpumalanga township, west of Durban.
Netcare 911's Shawn Herbst says paramedics found her with multiple gunshot wounds on Hammarsdale Street.
"Medics assessed the scene and found the woman in a critical condition. The patient was treated on scene by Netcare 911 emergency care practitioners."

"Due to the nature of her injuries, a Netcare 911 Helicopter air ambulance was activated to airlift the lady to a specialist medical facility.
"Circumstances leading up to the shooting will be investigated by the Hammarsdale SAPS who were on scene."
