Woman nabbed with R1.4m cocaine at OR Tambo

Police have arrested
a 23-year-old foreign woman for allegedly attempting to smuggle drugs into the
country.
The suspect was arrested at the OR Tambo International Airport on Saturday.
"Intelligence information was gathered about the suspect who boarded a flight from Brazil to South Africa via Doha," says police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda.

"During the search police found 3.6 kilograms of cocaine with an estimated value of R1.4 million.
"The suspect will appear before the Kempton Park Magistrate’s soon on drug trafficking charges."
