Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Police are searching for the five men who allegedly kidnapped a Durban woman last week for ransom.

Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says the 25-year-old woman from Inanda was taken on Saturday - after she responded to a job advert on social media.
"She found a contact person who agreed to meet her at the Mariannridge Swimming Pool, and she was kidnapped by five unknown suspects. During the search, police found woman's clothing as well as a bag in the bushes," she says.

Gwala says the woman was released in Mariannhill last night - after her family paid R2,000 of the R20 000 they'd apparently demanded.
A case of kidnapping is being investigated.
