Security guard arrested for kidnapping toddler at Umhlanga mall makes bail

The man accused of kidnapping a toddler at an Umhlanga Shopping centre has been released on bail.

Ntandoyenkosi Bulose, 29, was granted R2000 bail on Monday by the Verulam Magistrate Court on his second appearance.
Last month, the security guard was arrested after he picked up a two-year-old from a shopping trolley, while out with his grandmother.

Moments after the grandmother realized the child was snatched, she chased after the man and grabbed the child from his arms, leading to his immediate arrest.
Bulose is expected to be back in court on 3 March 2020.
