Woman dies in N3 crash, near PMB
A woman has died in a crash involving a truck on the N3, just outside Pietermaritzburg.
The heavy-duty vehicle overturned while travelling on Town Hill, and came to rest on the oncoming lane.
A man, who was the driver of the vehicle, sustained serious injuries.
KZN emergency services arrived on scene and found that the man had been partially ejected through the windshield.
ER24 medics say upon assessment, the woman who was trapped in the wreckage had already succumbed to her injuries.
