14 pupils injured in Hammarsdale taxi crash

14 children have been hurt, seven of them seriously, after their minibus taxi crashed in Hammarsdale, this morning.

The mini-bus collided with a light motor-vehicle.
The high school pupils were being transported to school along Hammarsdale Main Road - at the time.

"Earlier this morning, fourteen school children were injured in a crash involving a mini-bus on the Hammarsdale Main Road. Paramedics treated the patients at the scene of the crash before transporting them through to hospital," KZN EMS spokesperson, Rob Mckenzie said.
