State witness Mthokozisi Thwala has denied claims he told the police’s identikit specialist that he managed to identify the weapon used in the killing of football player Senzo Meyiwa.
Five men are on trial for the murder of the former Bafana Bafana captain in Vosloorus in 2014.
Thwala was one of six people in the house on the day Meyiwa was killed.
Defence counsel for one of the accused, Advocate Charles Mnisi, pushed him on the remarks he made to specialist Amanda Steenkamp.

"He also told Mrs Steenkamp that his person had a weapon which you identified as an revolver."
Mnisi then asked Thwala if there was a possibility he could've forgotten - to which Thwala replied that he never said he identified the weapon.
His cross examination will continue tomorrow in the High Court in Pretoria.
