Winnie Madikizela-Mandela’s Soweto home to be museum
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
The Soweto home of late struggle stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela will be turned into a museum.

The announcement was made by her daughter Zenani Mandela outside her home in Orlando East on Monday.
Zenani Mandela says Winnie's home will also be turned into a "sanctuary" for many.
"I want to tell the community today that my mother's house will be turned into a museum.
"Not only to honour her but all the South African women who are known and not known, they need to be profiled somewhere and that house is going to profile all those women."

"I also want to tell you that the house will be a house of sanctuary for you all. Because I know many of you used to come to mommy when you have issues. My children and I are going to honor that and when we eventually launch the museum we will let you know."
Scores of people came out to Winne's house to celebrate her birthday.
She would've been 86 years old.
The ANC Women's League and the Methodist Church remembered the late stalwart in song and dance.
