Westville chase: Attempted murder, robbery probe underway
Updated | By Portia Cele
Westville police have opened two cases - of attempted murder and attempted robbery - while the search continues for a group of suspects near Spine Road.

Five suspects fled on foot after the vehicle they were travelling in - crashed into another car - near the Pavilion Shopping Centre during rush-hour traffic.
They were earlier being pursued by police who spotted a vehicle they believe was involved in a number of crimes.
The police's Thulani Zwane says they are yet to make any arrests.
"They continued fleeing the scene using their vehicle but later - they abandoned it and fled on foot. Our team from the K9 Unit as well as Westville police tried to look for the suspects but couldn't find them. Up until now, there are no arrests and the matter is still under investigation," Zwane said.
